Lascaux's brand is both, an internationally acclaimed acrylic paint, and a familiar company engaged with very Swiss traditions like quality, innovation and respect for the environment. Our main approach was to build a highly usable online catalogue oriented to help and advise the loyal community of Lascaux products users. Then, we added a layer of "product benefit" to the UX foundation, using "the structure of colours" as a proof of quality and differentiation. We asked the client to take pictures of real brush strokes, and we used them to illustrate the differential quality of each product. The result is a website colourfully depicting the brand's quality and its firm intention to help and guide its users.
